OFTEC say “Financially stretched rural households can’t afford expensive green technologies”

Heat pumps cost around £10,000 to install which many stretched rural households can’t afford, even with RHI, Green Home Grants or proposed Clean Heat Grants.

Cheaper, simpler solutions like renewable liquid fuels are also needed.
